10% of Texas energy comes from wind power, making it one of the leading states in wind energy production.
One of the best documentaries showing Texas' leadership in wind farming was "Earth, an Operator Manual's" video below called "Texas, Wind and Efficiency" where Texas is known for being willing to export their wind energy to other states that just want to 'buy green' rather than 'see green'.

Wind Energy Record! 50% of Nova Scotia's Energy Came From Wind Last Night!
Nova Scotia Power says a new record has been set for wind power generation in the province.
For one hour early Wednesday morning, the utility says 50 per cent of the province's electricity came from wind.
